Fertility and Pregnancy
At Acupuncture Hub we have a special interest in fertility and pregnancy acupuncture. We offer a naturally holistic approach to treatment involving acupuncture, herbs, diet and specific supplements. Ryan was trained in an acupuncture fertility clinic in Brisbane and all high-risk pregnancies were treated with acupuncture. If you are high-risk pregnancy please see only a registered acupuncturist. They are the most qualified in acupuncture and will be familiar with this type of issue. We help and support our clients thru IVF as well as those that wish to conceive naturally. We work with doctor’s, surgeons and fertility specialists. Many women believe that the pregnancy period is the most important in their lives, but the truth is that the pre-conception one is just as important. At Acupuncture Hub, we understand both of these periods, helping you prepare your body for the conception moment and providing proper treatment during the pregnancy period. Once you are pregnant, we can assist you in treating tight hips, groin pain, back pain, morning sickness, even labor induction. Acupuncture for labour induction can begin from 38 weeks onwards. We invested a lot of time and effort in researching the subjects of fertility and how it relates to polycystic ovaries, endometriosis, amenorrhea and more. We enjoy educating and empowering our clients to make informed choices.
Before undertaking IVF it is useful to know whether possible complications such as undiagnosed Endometrios, Polycystic ovaries and blocked tubes may affect you. Did you know that poor sperm quality due to high sugar or ethanol can affect the DNA of your child? Did you know poor sperm quality can also be involved in miscarriage? Could your male partner have the DAZ gene? There is so much to know and consider when things are not going as planned. As you can see it’s important to address the males state of health as well as the females. Being aware of the limits of eastern and western medicine is also important. Sometimes a patient with endometriosis will need a laparoscopy for diagnosis and removal of the endometriosis.
